I posted pictures for August, here's the link to make them easier to find.

It's been a busy month for us. The kids just keep getting bigger and bigger. John starts preschool this week. We went for his orientation and he had so much fun he wanted to go back the next day. We'll see how he feels once he realizes I don't get to stay there with him.

At the beginning of August we took the kids for their first time to Penn State. We had so much fun and can't wait to go again. They got to eat Creamery ice cream, climb on the lion, run around Old Main and meet Matthew (Alison's baby, who's about the same size as Zoe :-)) John's really big on climbing right now so he had fun climbing on everything he could find.

We also took a trip down to a local farm to go apple picking. Both kids had so much fun. We got so many apples! Speaking of produce, I included a picture of some of the veggies from our garden. I think next year we might add a couple of things.

Well enjoy the pictures and see you next month!

I am now making up for not posting anything for such a long time! It's been a crazy few months. But we are all doing pretty well now and ready for summer.

The kids are getting so big. Zoe is now sitting on her own and pulling herself up. She loves to stand and might be walking by her birthday. She LOVES her brother and the dog. We are not sure if the "Mama" she is saying refers to me, the mother, or Emma, the dog. It's so amazing to see her grow. She has come such a long way since the beginning of May.

John is having a good summer so far. We went Strawberry picking at one of the local farms. He had a great time, Zoe on the other hand was not a happy camper. I'm sure she'll enjoy it a ton more next year when she can walk around. The other day the boys went out to get "a small fish to put in a small fish tank". As you can see from the pictures that's not exactly what they came home with. So far we have 4 fish (we think one might be pregnant), but I was told that's just phase one and that in a couple of weeks we shall be proud owners of more. Luckily PetSmart has a 2 week fish guarantee! :-) I must say it's pretty relaxing to stare at them. I wonder what the cat will think of them.

As John would say, "See you soon Baboon!"

John and I went camping and had a blast!

Hello my friends, yes it's been a long time, but I haven't forgotten about you. I posted pictures going back to the end of March! They've been sitting in our camera just waiting to make you smile. We are all doing well, looking forward to a fun summer. The kids are getting too big too fast. We had a couple of visitors and a lot of fun. Thanks for stopping by, enjoy!

We survived the snow storm! It was great, John and Dave had a lot of fun. It's the most snow Pittsburgh has seen since 1993! Emma wasn't too sure of what was going on, but looked pretty funny jumping around in it. Here are some pictures of the snow and the kids. Enjoy Superbowl Sunday! It'll be interesting since the Steelers are not playing. This year Mariel says "GO COLTS!!!" and Dave says "GO SAINTS!!!".

Hello everybody! It's been a while I've been adding pictures but haven't really posted on here in a while. Here are a few January pictures. We have been trying to stay warm!

  January Photos
Here are a few pictures of our wonderful Christmas 2009. Can't believe how fast this year went! Thanks to all the Santas out there for making our Christmas so fun!

More Christmas 2009 photos in the Family section
Here are some pictures of the kids. We tried giving Zoe rice cereal for the first time. We don't think she actually ate any of it but seemed to like it much better than the bottle. And after waiting for a long time John got to meet Santa (for the first time) at the fire station. He did really well told Santa what he wanted and let Santa hold him, but he seemed most excited about the shinny red fire truck sitting in front of him. When Santa asked him what he wanted for Christmas he said "FIRE TRUCK!". I guess boys will be boys. :-)

December Photos
It's been a little chilly and rainy here but we are still trying to get out as much as possible before winter comes. Here are some pictures from our latest trip to the Zoo (Zoe's first) and our afternoon at Soergel Orchards. I also have a few pictures of John's new train, which I'm so excited about and got a fantastic deal on! No way it was going to make it until Christmas, he saw it as soon as I walked in the door! Also I put some pictures of John being a great big brother. He asked to hold "my Zoe" and once she started getting cranky he started telling her "It's ok little one, it's ok." I love my kids, they are too cute, what can I say.

It's so sad that summer is almost over! We are definitely enjoying the weather but not looking forward to the cold. John's having too much fun at the playground for winter to come and Zoe has way too many cute summery outfits to wear. Little girls are so much fun! I love dressing her up and taking pictures of her (thanks Ashley for the wonderful European wardrobe), especially now that she's smiling.

John and I had a little "picnic" in the living room the other day, and Dave and the kids had fun playing with Thomas (thanks again Mary!). There are also some pictures of the boys making cookies with our fabulous KitchenAid mixer, MANY thanks to my dad. Last but not least we have pictures of John flying his one airplane around the house and the family "testing" a new sleeping bag that Dave got.

We've really had a wonderful Summer. Thanks to everybody that came to visit us, we miss you all! Next on the agenda... Drive-in, taking the kids to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

PS You will also notice that I started a new section called Kids where we will be putting all kids pictures.

We had such a fun time at Nana and Grandpa's house. John even got to see some model trains. Zoe got her beautiful baby blanket. Thanks Nana and Grandpa for all the great food and fun. I also posted a couple of pictures from Claire's baptism (our almost niece).

Hi everybody! Here are a couple of new pictures. John has been celebrating his birthday for a month now, I think these are the last of the birthday pictures. Zoe is now a month old and as cute as can be! We had to limit the comments to registered users only bc we were getting hit with spam, but we love to hear from you so please register and leave us messages! :-)

I have posted a couple more pictures. Everybody wanted to see the new addition to our family, not Zoe, Thomas of course! I'll try to get better pictures soon. In John's birthday folder you will also find the only pictures we were able to get at the train museum. I also added a couple more of Zoe.

It's been quite a summer. Here's a link to the last pictures that we posted. Unfortunately we don't have any pictures of John at the train museum because as it turns out our camera decided that it would not work without a charged battery, geeze they are so demanding!

Zoe and Mom spent the day at the hospital while Dad and John stopped by for a visit, ran some errands, and visited the fire station! John was worn out at the end of a long day.

Day 3 was the last day at the hospital. Zoe was doing well and we were all ready to head home for good.

Zoe Christine Wyman was born Monday, July 20, 2009 at 3:55 AM. Weighing in at a dainty 6 lbs, 1 oz and measuring in just over 18 inches, she popped into this world in record time - and with a full head of hair!

I added a couple more pictures to the April folder, May folder and my 28 week tummy picture. John's been busy making new friends, playing Rambo with Daddy and making us breakfast! Yummy! Today he decided that it would be fun to put his little books under Emma. Enjoy!

John loves fire trucks (takes after his old man that way) so, since it was a really pleasant evening, we took a walk down to the station so he could check our trucks out!

We have added a few more pictures. We've been having a good 2009 so far. We got to play in the snow and celebrate winning Superbowl XLIII! Also my belly has been growing like crazy! Although I think the camera added 10 lbs. We finally got new blinds for our living room yey!!!! We are so excited we had to throw in a picture. :-) Come visit and you can enjoy our "new" living room!

Sunday October 13 the three of us (along with our friends, Jeremy, Kelly, and Nick) went to Reilly's farm for a hayride and to get some pumpkins. We had gorgeous weather this weekend and John got to go on his first hayride and picked out his own pumpkin. He loved watching the animals at the little petting zoo they had and going down the big slide with Dad.

Abuela and Titi Ashley visited at the beginning of the month. John had a blast and really enjoyed helping Abuela plant some flowers!

Dear Mommy,

I love you!

Love,
John

John is officially one month old! This weekend was a very busy one - he was baptized on Saturday and quite a few people showed up to be a part of the celebration.

John is now two weeks old. It is amazing how much he's changed - I don't know if the pictures really show it, but he's no longer the little skin and bones guy from July 19. He is still fussy during the day but at night he sleeps for four or five hours at a time. Can't complain about that! Here are some pictures from the last few days:

July 23 - Third day home! Took John to the pediatrcian for the first visit. He checked out just fine - he's gained 4 ounces and grown a 1/4 inch (heh - doesn't sound like much but the doctor was happy)

John is acclimating very well to the house and the pets. Emma loves sniffing him but the cat is still keeping her distance.

Here are a few shots of the last day or so (thanks Anne for the sweet outfit!!!)

We were discharged  from the hospital around 2:30 this afternoon. John slept the whole car ride home and then immediately wanted to eat!

It is very nice being out of the hospital and having our own stuff around. John has already napped in his crib and his play pen. He's also gone through three changes of clothing! What did we get ourselves into!!! Heh...

Emma seems to have adapted already and likes to guard the door to John's room whenever he is in there.

July 21, 2007 - Day three was much better which is good because the night was very tough. After figuring out how to breastfeed, all John wanted to do was sleep and eat. And to do it in one hour rotations. So, Mariel and I were up all night trying to keep him happy! I know, I know - that isn't going to stop any time soon.

John is going to be coming home this afternoon and we're all looking forward to the comforts of home.

July 20, 2007 - John is still a very well behaved little baby. He spent most of last night in the nursery because his heart rate was about half the normal rate. But after a few tests and an EKG, the doctors decided he was ok and just needed a little time in the nursery under observation.

July 19, 2007 8:23 am - John Michael Wyman was born in room 1202 at Allegheny General Hospital! Weighing in at a slim 6 pounds, 15 ounces and measuring in at 20 inches, John is finally here! He has no complications, all fingers and toes are present, and the Lilly chin is making a strong showing.

Mariel held up remarkably well and is currently recovering in room 1270. All three of us will be staying at the hospital until Saturday morning.

I'm sure I'm leaving something out but that's ok - here are some pictures!

And, here's a short video of John just after being cleaned up from the delivery:

Hello everybody, this is my first post on our website so hopefully it works well.

Today is July 18th, the "official" due date and still no baby!!!!  Will somebody tell this baby to come out!!!

I am still feeling well, which I guess is a good thing, but we are so excited and anxious.  My mom and sister are here, we've been walking and still no baby.

Thank you so much for all your thoughts and prayers.  We'll definitely keep you all updated, keep checking the website for pictures.

Well, the nursery is about as done as it's going to be until it gets its tiny little alien - er- baby inhabitant.
